Alongside workshop based music making, Pete has always enjoyed involvement in Community Theatre productions as Musical Director and Composer. For almost 20 years Pete has 'MD'ed with Balsall Heath Community and Youth Theatres. Shows have included 'Brown Paper and Goose Grease' about the history of the NHS, 'Jo Public' about Joseph Chamberlain and as part of Black History Month 2008, 'Sweet Freedom' looking at historical links between Birmingham and the slave trade. In 2010 Pete produced music for 'Eclipsed', taking a humorous look at Birmingham's Lunar Society.
